Handling Resistance
About this training
How can you better address resistance and turn it into greater understanding and engagement on both sides?
When we get stuck in reactions like “Yes, but…” or “I think that…,” we make no progress. Worse yet, hidden resistance can derail projects or cause objectives to be missed.
In this workshop, you’ll gain concrete techniques to deal with resistance in a positive and effective way. You’ll learn to recognize and address different forms of resistance early on, both in one-on-one conversations and in group discussions.
You’ll also learn to identify and adjust your own defensive tendencies to communicate more effectively.
You’ll actively engage with case studies and practice tools and conversation techniques to address resistance within yourself and with your discussion partners. This fosters better team dynamics, increases productivity, and creates a harmonious work environment.
After this course, you’ll be better equipped to constructively tackle and leverage resistance in your professional role.
